Ramcel Engineering manufactures this concrete insert anchor assembly with our progressive die stamping and plastic molding equipment. Working with HSLA steel, the main anchor portion is stamped using a progressive die. PE plastic is molded to form the outer wing portions of the part. The steel is coated via a bright zinc plating process, and is then prepared for the assembly stage. Here, the steel and PE pieces are joined via secondary assembly equipment, along with orbital riveted, case-hardened steel studs, creating an assembly measuring 6.7" x 10.5". The 1.75 lb. part is produced in quantities in excess of 300,000 per year, and is packaged and delivered according to specific customer requirements. The assemblies are layer packed in medium sized Gaylord boxes, which are then stacked on pallets, and may not exceed 20" in height or 2,000 lbs. Our 3-week turnaround time ensures that our client receives the anchor assemblies as needed, with no gaps in inventory.
